The University of Mississippi offers the exercise science degrees out of their Health, Exercise Science, and Recreation Management department. The University offers three different degree levels - a bachelors, graduate and doctorate level degree.

Their bachelor degree program provides a broad overview of the field. The graduate and doctorate programs require students to select more specific areas of exercise science to focus on.

The University also has two research labs to help give students an in-depth look at the performance of the human body.
