Purdue University's personal training program is one of the top programs in the country. It's the first four year degree program dedicated to helping students become personal trainers. The program is more academically rigorous and challenging compared to many others. Students are required to obtain 2 certifications as a part of this program: the ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Trainer® and ACSM Health/Fitness Instructor Certification.

The program is clearly challenging, but students that graduate from this program will have a world-class personal training education, and many opportunities in front of them.
