This personal training program is made possibly because of the participation of the Academy of Applied Personal Training Education (AAPTE) organization and the Hofstra University Continuing Education department. The program blends 50 hours of classroom training with hands on experience on the front lines.

The program is also focused on preparing students for the AAPTE certification exam as students approach graduation.
