The Academy of Health Care Professions is a career college the focuses on training students in various areas of the health care field. The school started in 1953 as a physician practice. In 1988, the practice expanded to offer health care training for physicians. Since then AHCP has expanded to offer other allied health care courses, including personal training.

Graduates of this program will be prepared to sit for the National Strength and Conditioning Association exam to become a certified personal trainer.
