(NSCA) - National Strength and Conditioning Association
The National Strength and Conditioning Association was established in 1978. The organization is dedicated helping personal trainers focused on strength and conditioning to advance their careers and expand their knowledge. The NSCA has over 30,000 members located in 52 countries, and is one of the premier strength and conditioning organizations in the world. If you are considering a career that involves strength and conditioning, acquiring either of the NSCA certifications will be a big step in that direction.
Both of the NSCA certifications are accreditation by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) located in Washington, DC. This is a rare occurrence for a personal training certification and a testament to their quality. The certifications also earned recognition by the National Skill Standards Board (NSSB) in Washington, DC.
