(AFAA) - Aerobics and Fitness Association of America

The AFFA started in 1983 and today is one of the largest fitness educators in the world. They have given out more than 200,000 certifications to people from 73 countries around the world. AFAA is also one of the few fitness educators to be granted affiliate status with the National Board of Fitness Examiners and is a member of the National Organization of Competency Assurance (NOCA). AFFA offers four different certification options, and a wide variety of workshops and continuing education courses. This makes the AFFA a great organization for fitness professional who want to acquire skills and credentials in a specific discipline.
